Jai Bharat Group of Institutes carries a history rooted in resilience and the pursuit of education. In 1947-48, after the partition of India, Sindhi Hindus were displaced from their homeland and resettled in Mulund Colony, Mumbai. While rebuilding their lives, the Sindhi community prioritised education alongside basic needs like food, clothing, and shelter.
To ensure quality education for all, the Education Board Mulund Colony Trust was established, and in 1950, Jai Bharat High School was founded with Sindhi as the medium of instruction. Over time, the institute grew, adapting to changing educational needs and expanding to include junior college, degree college, open schooling, and distance education programs.
Under the leadership of Shri Inder Bhatia, who took over as Chairman in 1987, Jai Bharat flourished into a recognised institution, offering education from pre-primary to graduation, including affiliations with Mumbai University, Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, and NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling).
Jai Bharat is more than an institute; it’s a testament to perseverance, inclusivity, and the transformative power of education.

Jai Bharat Group of Institutes is committed to providing accessible, value-driven education. We nurture talent, inspire growth, and shape careers through a strong academic foundation.
